Aloha!
Honolulu.US is a growing guide to all attractions and services for the City of Honolulu, in particular, and also the entire Island of Oahu. The two first words of Hawaiian that many people already know before they arrive are: "Aloha" (Hello, also Goodbye) and "Mahalo" (Thank You). If you ask directions of the natives, they often use "Makai" (towards the sea or beach) and "Mauka" (towards the mountains). On an island with central mountains, like all of the Hawaiian Islands, Makai and Mauka often are more useful local directions than East, West, North and South.
Aloha and Mahalo. We welcome your feedback.
